toast for tea

My girl with her precious collection of socks and pigs ears - oh, and I think there's a bee in there too. This is my trial run at an internet cafe - got to make sure I can upload pictures from camera to blog. I'll need to know how to do this in PARIS and MALLORCA and LONDON! Can't believe it's only three sleeps till I take off! Yippee!!!!!! Eeeeeeek!!!!!!!

So much to do brain spinning like copied CD in old CD player. Lot of whirring but nothing happening. Decide to make list while eat breakfast. List too long for piece of paper. Start again. Need to categorise. Make three lists: things to do; phone calls and emails; writing tasks. Write lists in different coloured pens. Feel good all organised. Looks pretty. Start reading last few chapters of cliff-hanger book while drink cup of tea. Finish tea but keep reading. Dog wants walk. Try to ignore paw on leg. Keep reading again. If don’t look at dog, might go away. Try to ignore both front paws on leg. Look at lists. Shouldn’t be reading. Should be doing. Keep reading anyway. Dog walks off. Feel guilty. Take dog for walk with book in hand. Lovely sunny day. Plan to sit on bench in park to read last two chapters. Meet old neighbour. Haven’t seen for long time. Long talk. Think about lists. Torn. Cut walk short and go home? Keep to original plan. Want to read chapters. Keep going. Good exercise ...
